I am of Danish nationality, but have lived in Belgium, England and now I have become a Canadian citizen.  I have always loved Country and Western music and anything to do with cowboys, so the choice of Calgary as a place to settle down is ideal for me and I can at last wear my Stetson, without people staring at me.

I started horse riding for the first time in the summer of 2001 (western style of course) and my wish to ride in the Calgary Stampede Parade has been fulfilled a couple of times. Now I mostly go out trail riding in the mountains during the summer, and in the winter we amateur  Team Penning. Twice a year I go out playing cowboy for a few days. We go down to Livingstone Gap, and push 1200 cows up into the mountains for summer grazing, and in the autumn we have to bring them back down again.  I now have a horse called Blondie, she is a 5 year old Appaloosa.
